HFCI welcomes individuals who would want to spend sometime with us in our two main areas:
- Health
- Education
Volunteers are usually attributable to one or more of the following categories:
-
Young
graduates or Students
HFCI is currently introducing a new
volunteer scheme, to offer a 10 month placement to young graduates from
secondary school or young students. Get in touch with HFCI for more information!
-
Doctors/Nurses/Public
Health Specialists/Psychologists
If you have any experience in these
sectors, even your short-term involvement can be of great use in the Community
Health Centre.
-
Teachers/Pedagogues/Psychologists
If you have any experience in these
sectors, even your short-term involvement can be of great use in the Comet
School.
Physical well-being is important,
but so is psychological well-being and personal strength. Many of the children lack
role models and individual attention. To assume a mentorship requires
continuity and personal involvement but can be a very rewarding experience.
Feel free to contact us on volunteer@hands4children.org for more information.
